Gold Leaf Application: Ultra-thin sheets of gold are carefully laid by hand onto the lacquer surface, often using a fine adhesive.
Sealing & Polishing: Additional lacquer layers are brushed over the gold, then polished to protect the delicate leaf and create a radiant, glass-like finish.
Curved Form: A sculptural tray measuring 15 × 24 × 2 cm, perfect for serving, organising, or as a decorative catchall.
 
Art Meets Nature: Features a hand-drawn sketch of the White-bellied Sea Eagle by autistic artist T. S. Leong, celebrating both artistry and inclusivity.
 
Art Story
The White-bellied Sea Eagle—with a wingspan of nearly 2 metres—is often seen soaring above reservoirs, forests, and coasts. Forming lifelong pairs, they nest high in emergent trees and feed on fish, sea snakes, and crabs. This majestic bird embodies resilience and grace, qualities reflected in the platter’s design.
